It was three overheated and exhausting days, but it was also fun. Alot of good work, and alot of not so good work. Lots of inspiration, lots of freebies and lots of nice people. The portfolio surgery was good, and I got lots of tips to improve it. Enjoy some photos from the event.
Hi there. Tomorrow is my first day as an exhibitor at the New Blood Exhibiton in London and I am very exhited. The show is not open to the public tomorrow because the show building is taking place during the day and the private view is between 8pm and 10pm. I have printed a huge amount of selv promo material; 500 business cards, 250 leaflets, 250 postcards and 250 posters….. I just hope I haven’t wasted my money. People do love freebies, don’t they? I know I do.
It all went by so quickly… It was fun, even though someone nicked my Mid-Day Music leaflet… Here are some pictures from the show and the private view.
Yes, they are hand cut. I decided to produce my own cards, cause I couldn’t be bothered finding the right printer at this point, there wouldn’t have been enough time either. So I’ve designed, printed and cut them myself. Took me long enough….. But it was worth it. The cards are made specially for the degree show, and the reason for the three different set of colours is because I want them to match the different works I’m exhibiting.
Check out my new website! I have a new logo and visual identity, so I will update my banner here asap.
I’m tumbelling AND twittering.
My new wordpress posts are now imported to tumblr and tumbr is updated automatically on twitter. Fantastic.
Stay tuned!
It’s impossible to go to London without visiting London Graphic Centre, and it is impossible to go to London Graphic Centre without spending money…. I love their new Pantone range, and I’m not talking about the markers (love them too), but the tea/coffee mugs, laptop bags and other stuffs… I couldn’t help myself so I bought two mugs, one Olive Green (Pantone 5757C) and one Lilac (Pantone 2583C).
Time for coffee now, and I think I feel like 2583C <3
Just to clearify, my website is under construction. The reason is that I’m working on a new branding for myself as a part of the self promotion coursework this final semester. The website will be up and running by the end of May, so bear with me:)
